Bodies, Dogs and Gladiators
So today we all thought Winnie (whose dog Fred you can see above - she, the dog that is - sits next to me at work and we get on quite well) was gonna come late because someone got killed on the way she takes to work and they had blocked the highway off but luckily she realised beforehand (what a clever girl) and took another way. She sent me the link about what had happened, really strange story. There was this body found on the street, right, and the body was "wrapped in bags". So you think this is some cool mafia murder thingy, but then the article reveals: "Johnson said the bags were probably trash that blew up against the body." Totally disappointing outcome, I mean come on, bags blown against the body? Yesterday I had a great IceCream from this Ice Cream place which was absolutely packed at like almost ten at night. I had a sundae with chocolate chip, Oreo cookies flavour, hot fudge, marshmallows and cream. What made me really proud was that other people actually asked the guy what ice cream it was he was making cause it looked so yummy, ha! I did really need some ice cream cause Ben made this totally awesome food (I consciously decided to use this word more during my stay here) but the garlic bread was the most garlicy thing I had ever eaten. Apart from Ice Cream I also bought some stuff for a change yesterday, some CDs at Rasputin records and some socks from Urban Outfitters (and a pillow for Sandra, it was her Bday). I also bought a muffin at some coffee stand and got paranoid cause I always have a lot of cash on me (I dont have a credit card) and this woman stared at my wallet and right away called someone on her phone after serving me and then suddenly there was this weird guy standing not far away from me the whole time. Totally stupid really in retrospect. Fans of great TV by the way will be happy to hear that one of my favourite 90s TV shows is back in the US, American Gladiators, which you can sample below. Mind you, it isn't nearly as good as a similar Japanese version called Ninja Warrior , but it has Hulk Hogan in it and some stupid looking muscly idiots. Plus girls and guys beat the shit out of eachother like in that video so it does make for some entertainment. Rest of TV was crap, apart from a brilliant South Park episode about Steve Irwin (couldn't find a video online as they were all taken down due to being considered poor taste after he died) and some Samuel L. Jackson movie in which he spoke Spanish. And MTV have yet another shitty program, following girls around who are alcoholics and showing how they stumble all over the place. Pretty cool if you think how cheap it is to make those programs nowadays, all you need is some booze and a camera. With this wanna-be sophisticated media-critical observation I shall retire for today. Oh, and I have ads running on Google for my blog, if you figure out any keywords other than the obvious I will dedicate a video to you. Yeah, real tempting, I know.

Well your Mum and I enjoy reading your blog as it's well written and amusing but few pictures definitely help. So get to a shop and buy a charger for your camera.
Alright Danny.
I'm here at home on sick leave for the second week running after having my tonsils removed. I'm so bored by now that I'll read anything. So I read all your posts, in one go I might add!
Sounds like you're enjoying yourself which is great to hear. Keep it real (as some might say) and give my greetings to the people I know over there.
All the best now, and remember that whatever you post online is for everyone to see. Now all kinds of dodgy people can find out that you carry a lot of cash on you :)
